About

Zhiwei is a research fellow at the Australian National University under the supervision of Professor Stephen Gould. He is currently working on topics related to Deep Declarative Networks (DDNs). During 2017 to 2021, he was a Ph.D. student in computer vision and machine learning at the Australian National University under the supervision of Professor Richard Hartley and Dr. Thalaiyasingam Ajanthan with research interests in Markov random field optimization, semantic segmentation, stereo vision, and 3D neural network pruning. Before that, he was focused on some industrial works in China, and studied in signal and image processing under the supervision of Associate Professor Lei Zhang, now also at Sun Yat-Sen University, and Professor Mengdao Xing at Xidian University. He is currently living in the beautiful bush city, Canberra, the capital of Australia.
